Mark, thanks, I feel the same way. I think I am going to go with the intellifo. It also has a $200.00 rebate from SDGE. The pool guy thinks a 3/4 will do the job, and MAY work for solar, but I dont want to have to buy a new pump in a year when I go with solar. The Bid is around 4,000.00 for a pentair master temp, 2 jandy valves, inline chlorinator, intelliflo pump, and all the PVC on the pad. I thought this was high as all the equipment shipped to my house is about 2,875.00. I am a DIYer, and I may attempt the install myself. I ran my gas line last week and I am ready to go. Still on the fence with having it done by a pro or doing it myself.
