Anyone ever accidentally spill drop test regints and pool water mix on themselves? Do i really have to rinse for 20 minutes once diluted for the test?

Thank you. Walking to rinse vial and tripped and spilled. none in eyes but washed my face in case and arms and changed shirt.

I tip my CH and TA reagents out through my fingers to catch the magnetic stirrer. I just rinse my hand when I rinse the tube, never had an issue. Having said that it would be best to use a cheep strainer from the dollar shop and avoid contact. The salt test will stain anything it contacts and is listed as a carcinogen so that one needs some precaution.

Just rinse and wash, you’ll be fine.
