The article is scant on details, but seems like this would be a huge pain to deal with cleaning wise. I understand that it's not "real sand" per se, but still not sure on the details. Will this be coming to the US anytime soon? We shall see...

What’s even tougher than concrete you ask ???

60 grit concrete with glued on sand so the sand is rock hard and combined will tear off whole patches of skin. Ouchies.

Reminds me of a neighbors' unplastered gunnite pool when I was growing up. Took weeks for my fingerprints and toeprints to grow back. You learned in a hurry to stay away from the walls. Bathing suits wouldn't last long, either.
