Just a quickie guys. The manual says 4000ppm salt. The SWG chemical balance in the sticky says 3200ppm. Should I go with the levels recommended in the manual?
Double check the manual as my old Jandy Aquapure's max limit was 4000. The manual should state a range of salinity and I usually shoot for the middle which is around 3000 for most SWG's here in the USA.
The manual (aquapure ei) says this on page 19.
4.7.3• 4,000 ppm of salt is recommended for optimum water conditions.• Low salt concentration below 3,000 ppm will cause premature cell failure.• High salt concentration above 6,000 ppm may cause corrosion damage to pool fixtures
