Question about starting TFPM on Friday

Hello,
I should have my tf-100 kit on Friday. I have a online chlorinator and have 3 inch tabs in it now. When I test on Friday for the 1st time do I take the tabs out?

Meant to say no if going Full Blown TFPM......I leave 2-3 tabs in just to make sure there is always some chlorine in case I don't have a chance to add liquid......ONE year of ownership and NEVER had any type of algae or high CYA......your choice.....GL

The tabs will not effect your testing. Now, when you get your test results, you may need to remove the tablets and use liquid chlorine if your pool water chemistry requires it.

The correct answer is: "Test your water and make any chemical decisions based on those results". TFPC is about giving your pool what it needs when it needs it based on accurate and reliable testing. It is not specifically anti-trichlor nor is it about giving advice with no test numbers to go on. Plenty of us use trichlor when it is warranted. The key is knowing what your pool needs and what you are adding will do to your numbers.
