Why is it every year when I open my pool it looks like a pond ? I close it clean with good chemistry. I do use a loop Lock cover because of my windy location. Is that why ??

Do you close after the water is below 60 and open before it gets above 60? That seems to be key.
In my region it is a trade off
I closed late so ya deal with a lot of leaves. opened early and had beautiful water but have been changing out skimmer socks 2 to 3 times a day with pollen. I literally had my pool crystal clear in 2 days but I think I will open later next year. I closed and opened with water temps below 60.

I would try opening earlier. Keep an eye on your water temps too. This spring was a little weird here, my temps actually got up over 60 in early may and have now dropped back into the 50s from our recent cold snap.
