My Polaris worked wonderfully last summer. We opened the pool on Monday. Tuesday it worked well. Wednesday it was sluggish and mostly on its side. I took it out of the water - emptied the bag, checked the backup valve, checked the filter screen. Gave it Friday off from work; but it's no better today. Our pool maintenance company is slammed right now with pool openings - so wondering if there is an independent shop who specializes in Polaris issues.

If you can't find an independent repair shop, most Leslie's stores do work on Polarises. Looks like your closest one is in Alexandria.

Hugely appreciate your advice. Will try Leslie's. May necessitate going there because no one picked up the phone. But I will give them space, it is Memorial Day weekend and every pool in our area is probably opening last week and this week.
Closed by now in EDT. My local Leslie's store manager says Sundays are the least crowded day in his store.
