Hello all ,
I am going to replace the Polaris hose as mine is probably 18 years old from the previous owner and all last year I was untangling it to get the cleaner to roam. The swivels all leak and the floats need replacing so I want to replace the entire length wall to cleaner floats, swivels...
Greetings from Houston!
Hoping for help with a “minor rust” question. Specifically - reoccurring on the metal screen of the In-line filter for Polaris 280 Max Black cleaner.
I appreciated the education I received from TFP years ago, when we bought this house with a pretty pool 10+ years ago...
Hi,
I have a relatively new Polaris 280 that I purchased last year. This season it seems whenever I check the bag for debris it is filled with water instead. I would think the bag would be too porous to just hold water but that doesn't seem to be the case. Have tried opening the zipper slightly...
My Polaris worked wonderfully last summer. We opened the pool on Monday. Tuesday it worked well. Wednesday it was sluggish and mostly on its side. I took it out of the water - emptied the bag, checked the backup valve, checked the filter screen. Gave it Friday off from work; but it's no...

It will cost me ~600 to replace (including...
Hi everyone! First time poster here....
Our pool is roughly 7 years old - our first cleaner was. Pentair Racer - lasted about 5 years then died. It was cheaper to replace it with a Polaris 280. The Polaris just randomly stops working, then if I untangle the cord, it goes back to normal -...
I found this when emptying the bag for the Polaris 280.
It looks like part of a wheel bearing assembly or some such thing I've seen when disassembling the unit in the past.
I've no idea how it could've come out. It's one solid piece. The sweep and all its wheels appear to be functioning...
I a new pool owner (just bought house with a pool). It came with a Polaris 280 cleaner. Looking at the cleaner it Is neither new nor too old. How should I go about debugging as to what is the problem. Trying to see if I can repair or need to buy a new one
