Hi,

I just recently had a Pentair Intellibrite 5G White LED Spa Light (12V) installed in my pool. The documentation says that that lifespan of the LED is anywhere between 10,000 and 30,000 hours. Does anyone know what the process is for replacing these when they burn out? Does the entire light need to be replaced or just some component inside the housing like with traditional light fixtures? Has anyone replaced one of these recently?

Thanks!

Does that involve draining the pool? Can the housing of the light be "pulled out" and worked on without having to buy an entire new light fixture?

Depends if it was installed with sufficient slack in the wire to pull the light out of the niche and up onto the deck.

Review the manual to see the limited maintenance that can be done to the light...
