I installed a 12v pool light and hooked the wires directly to the 120v power and tried a bunch of times to turn on but it wouldn’t. I realized I got the 12v instead of 120v, so I purchased a transformer and hooked all the wiring together and still nothing. Did I burn out the light led board? Thanks for input

Yeah, you probably fried something on the board. You are not the first. Folks have done board level repairs if you are up for it.

If you applied 120 volts directly to the input to a 12-volt light, I'd say it was gone after about 1/2 a millisecond...
