I have a hayward g1-066012g-1 board & my question is - why do I lose my calibration the next day ? I can set & the salt level is 3200 , runs & generates fine all day ( no errors ) then the next day it reads 1700 & yes I put a new salt cell on system & had the pool place check my salt level .

That is likely the issue. Let's ask @JamesW for his input.
You need to have a timer or other device to power off the SWCG when the pump is not running. It should solve the salinity issue and keeps the SWCG cell from exploding.

Probably a bad flow switch.

The SWG needs to power off when the pump is off or it can potentially explode due to a buildup of chlorine gas and hydrogen gas.
Thanks so much for the info, I turned the pump off & the no flow light did not come on. I replaced with new one & the light did come on . I’ll check tomorrow but I’m pretty sure that was the problem - thanks again !!
