I accidentally got the salt level to 3500 - 3600. It is for a t-15 Hayward. Can I leave it there or must I lower the water level to get it below 3400?

And early today I added a 40 lb bag of salt. When adding small amounts like that it is recommended to turn off SWG for the next 24 hours? That 40 lbs is what put me over - I had read 3000 and 40 lb should have only raised the level to about 3300.

It is not a major problem.

How are you measuring the salt level?

Where did the 3500-3600 come from?

What does the Hayward system say the salinity is?

What Hayward system do you have?

What are the diagnostics - volts, amps, salinity?

I am asking what is on the Hayward system display for salinity?
I’ve had it off since i performed a SLAM. The fc is coming down. Currently around 17. But it has generally agreed with my test results prior to the SLAM.

Report what the diagnostic readings are when you decide to turn your SWG on.

Your amps are in the 6s.

Your salt is fine. Let it drop naturally.
