A thought: Check the tip on your bottle of R0012. If it is the right tip, you can take it off, wash it, rinse with distilled water, shake or flick it, and let it dry. Then put it on your bottle of R0871.

Thanks! I haven't any distilled water, and can't leave the house until evening. too many kids for the car. I'll have the other half grab some when he's stocking me up with chlorine.

tested at 11:45. FC - 8. Added a gallon of chlorine, which is a little more than PoolMath called for.
Water looks like it's getting a little bluer? And it's raining.

Definitely looks more blue! So glad you can attack it so frequently today. It will make a big difference! It's supposed to stop raining around 2ish.

1:45 pm. My FC is 12, which is target. I guess I'm surprised? I haven't brushed since I last added chlorine since it was raining. I'll brush, but when should I test again? another hour?

Yeah, I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to fiddle with stuff and add stuff. I massaged the stabilizer socks, brushed to bring up the junk. Filters AND vacuum arrived today (wasn't expecting the vacuum until tomorrow), so hopefully this evening we'll get those installed and maybe see what vacuuming does for us. I'm anticipating that we'll need to wash the cartridges a few times in this slam. I get clouds of silty brown-ness when I brush. We've just been running it without the cartridges to get the circulation going.

Filters cartridges installed. We're working on getting the spa online, so I'll have a dump of water that has not yet been treated.
