No Shock

I recently hired a pool guy because I have been busy. He never uses shock and my water has never been so clear. I also never have algae anymore. Does anyone know the answer? It's a question because I thought shock was needed weekly. Thanks

I have had three saltwater pools for about 10 years, and in all that time I have never added a single bag of pool store shock.

I have no clue what your pool boy does, but just because the water is clear now, does not mean it will stay that way.

How does he keep your pool sanitized??
