Good morning. I have to say I'm at my frustration level. Friday night and last night I tried the OCLT and both nights my FC levels dropped 1.5ppm. I have let it drop below SLAM level during the day so the grandkid could swim. Still vacuuming and brushing everyday.
Naughty naughty! Can't let it drop, although I sympathize with you and your desire to please the grandkids. That's very common actually ...trying to please the family. But you have to "Maintain" the FC level for SLAM.
Hi TS. I had no idea. Several people saying let it drop so you can swim. Not today. I want this over now. I will babysit pool all day today. Hopefully that will do the trick.
You can let it drop so you can swim if the water is clear. But, you will lose a little progress. It's a toss up. We do have pools for swimming after all. The more you brush and keep the FC up the faster it will finish.
Hello again. I have been super busy at work and have no time to do much of anything but...my FC held Sunday night to Monday morning I lost .5ppm over night. I did not test Monday night or yesterday I wasn't home. The pool has been running 24/7 since I started the SLAM. Here are my readings tonight
FC 10.3
CC 0
PH 7.4
TA 140
CYA 50
my questions are...can I turn my pump off now over night? I always run 8-10 hours a day, and I now only keep my chlorine between 4 and 7 on a daily basis? My pool has been clear and clean for weeks.
