Need to Replace Power Supply for Intellichlor IC40 Model 520555

Hello! I was hoping someone on the forum might be able to help with an equipment question.
We currently have our Pentair Intellichlor IC40 Model 520555 plugged into a Pentair Easy Touch Panel, but we think it has a bad board. We would like to replace it with a power supply. Can we replace it with a Model 50722 instead of the Model 520556? The price on the Model 50722 is much more affordable.

Why not just buy the EasyTouch power supply (surge card)???

Why do you think the board in the EasyTouch is bad? Did you test the DC output voltage?
