Does MA breakdown with time/temp like Chlorine? It's been twice now that I've added MA to bring pH down from 8.0 to 7.6 and on the tester its reading 7.7/7.8 and the visual test also looks closer to those numbers.

That's good to know. I've had a hard time finding MA at my usual places(Lowes/HD). I found 175 cases at a nearby HD, but the date code was from like the 190th day of 2022. You should have seen the pallets they were sitting on. Some of the boxes were crumbling. I think OSHA or the EPA would be concerned. I was seriously thinking of asking for the manager and asking for a 50% discount, but was in a rush. I was concerned about the brittle plastic bottles, but they seemed ok. I'm sure I'll use them by July.
Side note: The last MA I got from Lowes(Kem-Tek brand) was crystal clear and was also from 2022, but had the most prominent Ph reduction I have ever had. It was 31.45%. There was no heavy odor either, and that concerned me that it was "unfresh?". The MA I get from HD(HDX brand), also 31.45%, is yellow colored and will knock your socks off if you get down wind and get a whiff of it.
The color is iron from the manufacturing process. Some have less color than others.
The fumes reaching your nose depends heavily on humidity, wind speed and direction.
