Sounds like your FC levels got below the min for your CYA level.
Can you post a set of test results and what kit you used to get them.
You may need to do the SLAM Process. Your probably on the verge of an algae outbreak. If you catch it early enough it will go quickly.
At any rate get your FC levels back in range for your CYA level.
How are you chlorinating your pool ? ?
thanks Jeff here's what my numbers were before I shocked it today. FC 4 CYA 45 PH 8.0 I also got the Ph down to 7.5 I had some Green on the bottom , not a lot but I got that cleaned up.
Ok cool. You need to follow the SLAM Process to the T.
It doesn't sound too bad, so if you maintain the shock level as best you can the quicker this will go. Your shock level is 20. I rounded up the CYA level to 50 for your shock level. Your using bleach correct ?
Remember to brush and look at all the areas algae could hide. ?
