Carefully check all fittings that go into or out of the pool pump, filter, or heater. Is the wet area near your skimmer/return? Does the pool have a main drain? Otherwise, hop in the pool with some nice big goggles on and inspect the area inside on the floor and pool walls and look for little bubbles. You can also use food coloring to test a suspected leak point.
