Jandy Epump Clicking

So something happened to my Jandy epump 2.7hp the other week

I just had the motor rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Still clicking. see the video below. No suction. Any ideas

Sounds like the fan on the back is rubbing on something.

I took off the shroud the fan was not hitting anything. There is no play in the shaft and no noises if I spin the impeller or the fan by hand

Well something is internally rubbing. The clicking varies with the RPM.

No suction? Check that the impeller is actually attached to the shaft.

Ah, you buried the leade. Didn’t see the lack of suction. Fix the suction problem and you will probably fix the clicking.

Impeller is connected to the shaft for sure. I just uploaded another video. The shop that just rebuilt the motor has a warranty. I think I need to bring it back to them. Here is another video

That fan is broken, there is a segment on the perimeter missing. Likely an out-of-balance issue.
