I have some experience; I guess that's the best word. I've been trying to have various above ground pools of and on for the last ten years. Just installed my largest pool so far, a Coleman 18 ft by 48 inch round pool. Right now I have it filled to three feet for two reasons: my youngest granddaughter is neck deep at this level, and I'm not sure I have the pool level enough. Anyway, I have a Hydrotools Swimline sand filter and pump along with an Intex model ECO5110 saltwater system. Today I plan to add shutoff valves to the suction ports. (For some reason they included a shutoff valve at the return end but not at the suction end.) Also working on getting enough CYA dissolved. Finding that's a lot of fun.

thanks. already went to pool school. Liked what I saw; that's why I joined. Always thought all the stuff I read over the years was too complicated. So now I have a bunch of chemicals I don't need or are too old. Any Ideas on how to safely dispose of them?
