Intellicenter or EasyTouch

Hello everyone,

I just moved into a home where the pool is 20+ years old. A lot of work to be done but at the top of the list is getting a new pool system installed. I have been going back and forth with two different companies on which system to install as I am moving on from chlorine to salt as well. One company says I should go with the IntelliCenter (i5PS with IC40 Salt Generator) Bundle, while the other suggests the EasyTouch PSL4. I have been doing research and it seems like Intellicenter is the updated system. With the price not being that big of a difference which system would you recommend I get installed?

The PSL4 is a 'lite' version of the EasyTouch and works about the same as lite salad dressing tastes...

I would not give a lite version to anyone that I respected...

Why would you buy a 20+ year old system that the manufacturer has declared obsolete?

Depends if you prefer the Pentsir eco system or Hayward eco system for compatible equipment.
