How to get started?

Hi all,
I've read the basics but am still a bit confused as to how to get started. I had a guy come to clean my indoor pool and he said that literally everything about the water is off.

What should I start with? Here's a pic of the pool. It's about 30ft by 15ft, 4ft deep in the shallow end and 8ft in the deep end.

Thank you!!

Test results with a TF100 would be a start.

Welcome

Hi! Seems like my phone is 8.4, 0ppm free chlorine, 180ppm total alkalinity, and 150ppm stabilizers - your help is soooo appreciated!!
Welcome Jan! For starters, quit using test strips and get a good test kit. Link -
Test Kits Compared

You will not be able to swim in a pool without anything keeping it clean, i.e. chlorine. That is if your chlorine is legitimately 0. We don’t trust test strips or the results from a pool store. Get a kit as mentioned above, post your results, and the folks here at TFP will help you.
