My numbers look good but still so cloudy I can't see the drains yet. I turned the salt off to cut chlorine and we are OK there now. Will kicking the salt back on help clear it up?

Cloudy typically means algae is starting to form due to not enough chlorine. I would not turn off your SWCG and salt will have no role in killing algae, as long as your SWCG is happy with the current salt level.
As mknauss mentioned, please post your most recent test results and where you got them (pool store, your own test kit, etc.). PS - We do not like pool store testing as they are not very accurate or trustworthy. They do silly things like tell you your numbers "look good" even though your eyes tell you a different story.
