Welcome!!!! My first pool was an Intex Ultra Frame 18’ x 52” but it was not the XTR version, which came out months after I already bought my pool. The XTR has great reviews and seems to have much less problems with rusting and what not. I also upgraded to the 16” Intex Krystal Clear sand filter and the .75 HP pump. With a pool your size, I definitely would too! Can’t comment on the Intex saltwater system as I’ve never owned one, but there’s some AGP owners on here that have it!
