Hi from ATX! We built our pool during Covid and finally got water in September 2021. By all counts, we were lucky with supply chain impacts compared to others. We went with Blue Surf pebble sheen which has since turned completely grey (possibly due to high CYA level?). I’ve always perused the various forums here (in fact, some of the conversations here are what helped us choose Blue Surf!) but now I’m really hoping to hear from anyone who may have experienced something similar.

CYA would not turn plaster gray. What chemicals have been added to the pool over the past 2.5 years.
I assume you are using chlorine pucks if you are concerned about CYA levels.
