In wisconsin and getting ready to close my 12 ft steel frame pool. I have drained the water already other then for about 2 inches in the bottom. My husband said he would prefer to just remove a few of the steel bars and try to fold the pool in half to store. I know that from reading other posts that taking the steel frame apart is very difficult. Could i leave the pool up for the winter. If so do i need to leave more water in it then i have right now. I am willing to buy a winter cover and a leaf net but will i have to weigh the cover down some how. Im not sure if its okay to leave the pool up but it does sit on a wood deck which i am not sure is better or worse. Any suggestions.
