Cloudy pool

My SWG was at 65% before I turned it off to do the SLAM and OCLT last night. I turned it back to 65% this morning. As far as I know it has been running at 65% for some time. Does that sound reasonable? Also, my pump has been running 24/7 for over a week now. I really need to do something different. My electricity bill is sign to be awful. Where do I start on reducing the runtime of the pump?

Now that you passed your SLAM, you can certainly reduce pump run time. This too will be a little bit of experimenting to figure-out how much pump time is needed to filter larger debris from your water, while also processing FC from the SWG since they typically work together. You might consider cutting back about 8 hours for now and see how that impacts filtering and FC production, then go from there. Everybody is different based on their pool, equipment, and weather conditions. Here is the TFP pump run time page that may help you further: Pool School - Determine Pump Run Time
