Circupool RJ45+ error “cell not match”

Hello,

My circupool RJ45+ is displaying “cell not match”. I has been in use only one season, and now on reopening my pool, I get this error message. The keyboard is completely unresponsive too. I have seen couple of reports like this on this forum, but no resolution or possible explanations. Does anyone know what may cause this??

Here is one thread with the recommended first steps by Circupool. There are a couple posts with different recommendations (cleaning and adjusting the plugs). If that doesn't work, call circupool.

RJ-60 Cell Not Match

Hello Everyone, I opened the pool today and started my SWG RJ-60, and on the Display it says Cell Not Match. Any ideas what that means, I tried searching and came up with nothing. It's a brand new cell purchased last year, do I need to clean the cell for the first time after it being turned off...

That's unfortunate. Let us know if any troubleshooting attempts work out for you. If not, the silver lining is you have most of your pro-rated value remaining on the unit. They should take care of you. Please keep us posted.

Fwiw, this stuff is reputed to be the gold standard for cleaning and maintaining contacts of all types. A little pricy, but it keeps fixing things for me (mostly outdoor; pool and other), and they seem to stay fixed.
