Chemicals out of whack

Hi there :)

Having PH that low with such high TA seems out of whack ? Are you sure there wasn't testing error on that TA test? How are you chlorinating?

Everything else seems fine except that TA and PH don't seem to jive n

Looks pretty good. You can aerate to raise your pH with that high of a TA. Point a return up to the surface or something to break the surface of the water. The pH will rise quickly.
You may want to raise your CYA to 40 or 50 but that can wait to see how your FC holds in your northern climate. Keep your FC at 3 or above at all times with a CYA of 30.

Take care.

My comments still apply. Normally your TA will need to be 70 -90 to get pH to stabilize.

Take care.

:):)

That makes a lot more sense. In that case your numbers aren't that out of whack. You want your PH to come up to about 7.5. You can aerate to bring up PH and you can also use 20mule team borax to bring it up quickly. Use poolmath to determine how much to use if you go that route.
