Brand New Martite Surface has blotchy floor

Hi All,

Got my pool resurfaced 2 weeks ago, Blue Martite. Bottom of the pool has dark blotches on it. First they told me it was dust, now they are saying it hasn't been brushed enough and so there is moisture in the surface.

Has anyone had this problem.

With the darker colors this is very commom I am sorry to say Do a search for molting and see what you find.

Oh thanks. Its not a darker color though it's white with blue flecks in it.

It's never going to be perfectly even I am afraid to say. These products have to be mixed will all the ingredients and IMO, it may never be completely even. My brand new pool has Wet Edge.. it's mixed on site. Not perfect, there are areas where it's clear there are a little less stones, but nothing really I can do about it now and it's not something that would have been obvious.
