I have a blue torrent variable speed pump and it has been working great. I only have one setting on it to run it from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I came home at 7:30 tonight and it was still running and the screen was flashing continuous and it had the number six across it. I had a hard time turning it off I unplugged main plug but when I plugged it back in it restarted the filter then I turned off and enter at same time and it shut down but now I'm unable to reset the timer or get anything reset, I just have the number six across the screen every time I plug it in

How old is the pump? Is it still under warranty?

Try turning the circuit breaker off for 15 minutes and then see what the display looks like.
