I've got two 2" ball valves from pool that are getting almost impossible to turn. Not much space to replace. It's there a lube that will loosen them up? WD-40?

Replace them with diverter valves for a permanent fix.

I have not heard of anything that can loosen a sticky ball valve from the outside. And if you try and force the handle too much the handle will break off.

I could probably make one 3 way valve work. Looking at Hayward PSV3SDGR. 1½-2 or 2-2½, does it matter?

If you have 2-inch plumbing, either will work.

With a 1.5-2, your plumbing will fit over the ports on the valve.

With a 2-2.5, your plumbing will fit inside the ports on the valve.

Left side is labeled SKIMMER.

Where does right side go to?

If you ever blow out the lines and airlock them to winterize them then two valves will make that much easier.

A 3-way will work. A 2-way gives you more flexibility and easier to adjust each individually.
