Automation / Timers Questions...

In reading through your thread, it seems to me that one thing you wanted was to run the pump at night during the week and during the day on the weekends. To do this automatically, it would seem to me that you need a 7 day timer. While I don't have any first hand experience with timers, yet....... The concept is pretty basic. I searched for " seven day 220 volt pool timer" and found these two:

I am sure there are others out there. Just something to consider.

Have you read the instructions? There is a PDF at the link you provided.

Looks like you just hook the incoming LINES to the the L1 and L2 Terminals and the COM and COM2 Terminals. The pump and SWG would then be hooked up to the NO and NO2 Terminals.

Perfect! Yes, I had looked at the instructions. So i guess i need a jumper wire from L1 to COM and another jumper wire from L2 to COM2.

Does it matter what colour wire goes where?

Also, where will ground go?

As for the trippers, the manual is not clear (to ma at least). Do i need to move the trippers in for the start and stop times?

The wire color does not matter ... ASSUMING ... they are the 2 lines of a 230V circuit.
Right above the diagram it says that the trippers need to be out to turn it on.

Your SWG is wired for 230V like the pump right?
