Thanks for adding the signature and great move on the pool service. It's really not that hard these days especially with swg to have a great looking pool with out a service. How are you measuring salt levels? The swg readings on salt can be very inaccurate and this test is the most accurate at a reasonable cost. I would get a Taylor K1766 test kit for salt. There's no better way that's practical for pool owners and it'll last forever. Once you get the salt level established use Pool Math to figure out how much to add. I like adding in the shallow end. This way if there's any undisolved you can easily swish it around with a brush to dissolve it. And if you use softener salt (perfectly fine so long as there are no additives) sometimes there's a little sand at the bottom that's easy to vacuum up in the shallow end.
