Tomorrow if she wants to go into instant shock. Our ground water comes out cold. I went into near shock with my feet in there trying to smooth off the liner.

Pool is totally filled, filter up and running. Installing the Skimmer and return was a bit scary.
Then making it fit with my intex sand filter was fun. I'd like to get some different plumbing with shutoff valves. Pics coming as soon as my cell charges.

Here are some pictures. I would like to re-do how I have the intex 2650 connected up, this was just to get things running. Its not leaking so it might be OK, but I am going to order two ball valve's to attach to the feed and return so I can do work on the filter w/o loosing any pool water
I'm open to any suggestions, but since the intex uses those proprietary / non-standard connections I wasn't to sure how to connect the intex hoses to the new AGP. For now I just pushed the plastic onto the 1-1/2 hose adapter and put a clamp on it. It was tight enough where I couldnt move it and it did not leak. I had added a temp piece of wood to give that hose / connection a little support, prob not needed but just to be safe.
Any idea how long I should run that 2650 sand filter for this pool, I believe its 8200 gallons according to the sharkline site. So I figure 6-8 hours? 8 hours would turn the water a little over twice.

The male fitting on the union/ball valve goes into the bottom of your skimmer and the Intex adapter goes into the bottom of that. Intex hose and nut fit very nicely to those adapters.

These adapters worked for me to connect my Hayward skimmer (ball valve actually) to the Intex hose running to my Intex 2650 sand filter. I only needed one adapter but they come two to a pack so now I have a spare. The package also includes gaskets and teflon tape. I did not need to use the tape. No leaks.
