Hi all, I'm about to slam my pool. I'm going to lower the pH to 7.2. do I really need to wait 24 hours before I add liquid bleach? Thanks.

No.

Almost all Clorox and other pool store bleach has additives like Cloromax polymers.

In addition most bleach is 6% or less.

You will pay more for less then if you get 10%-12% liquid chlorine as Pool chlorinating Liquid or Pool Shock.

I just did a quick google and looks like the closest walmart to you is Mohegan Lake, and they have plenty of 10% chlorine (aisle F40).
