Red face New here - Doggie/Human Pool - Pearland, TX

I want to build a "doggie pool" with cinder blocks. I understand that if depth is less than xx inches I dont need a permit.
would like to know the easiest way possible because i am going to build it.

Permits are going to vary by location, however on the topic of dog pools there was someone in FL that built a very nice one a year or two ago. Here is a link to the completed project, which has a link to the build thread in it a few messages down

Indoor 20x40 35,000 gallon vinyl pool with 1.5 HP 2 speed Jandy FloPro pump, Hayward EC75 Perflex DE filter, 11 4x12 Techno-Solis solar panels w/ Aquasolar controller, Aquabot Turbo T Robot Cleaner. Also LMI metering chlorine dispenser pump and HotSpring Jetsetter

The common no permit depth is 18". You should probably visit some koi pond websites. There are lots of people building cinder block koi ponds. is the only one I can think of right now.
