They are starting my pool next week and I have been looking into automation. I am new at this. If I were to user a i7 or i9 intellitouch system, what is the difference. How many pool equipment items can you control and can you control them all with an intellitouch system. What are the main items that should be controlled? Can you control all these?
Pump
Heater
Intellichlor
Pool lights
Landscape lights
Sheer descent
Jets
Speakers
Anything else?
And is this system something anyone can connect because I dint know if my pool guy will be able to connect this.

The difference between an i7 and i9 is in the number of devices that can be controlled.

You can in principal control all of those things, though speakers are starting to get outside of the normal range of what the system is designed to handle, while everything else is exactly what they are made to control.
