    Recommendations for Spa Plumbing

Reading up on how many say spa flex is bad for pools/spas. If you don't go with that, what's the best way to make sure you have centered PVC in a 9' round spa?

Not sure what you mean by "centered". Do you mean keeping the pipe in the middle of the gunite, or....?

Yes ... in the middle of the gunite. It seems that it would be difficult to use 45's without having the pvc zig-zag and come fairly close to the edge of the gunite wall. Is heating/bending required?

I didn't know spa-flex would be a bad choice. Is it because of the joints?

There have been many people who have had flex eaten through by one critter or another so I would not recommend it for non-accessible areas.

Depending on city code heat bending a pipe may not be allowed.
