Thread: Can anyone listen to my pump?

Can anyone listen to my pump?

Here is a video of my old pool pump. Obviously, has a bad bearing. Can any of you tell if this a shaft bearing or impeller issue?

    Thanks in advance.

That just sounds like a bad bearing. I'd go ahead and get a seal set.

Impeller or bearing on the actual motor shaft?

    Thanks for listening

Bearing on the motor shaft. There are probably two, one on the front and one on the back. Change them both.
