Yea it's probally ground water. In the south they leave a few 4" holes when they gunite to allow groundwater into the pool. If they did not do this the entire pool would pop out of the ground from water preasure, think cup in bathtub as a kid. At plaster they fill these holes, plaster and immediately add water.boomer133 said:I talked to my PB about finishing the plaster after the winter… I figured it would save on closing and reopening cost/work.
Does anyone see a problem with that? I noticed the bottom of the dig had water and there was no rain… I assume it is the water table.
I would just get it all done now. Our build and plaster wasn't finished until mid September, then we had some other mishaps that required keeping it open into October. If that all would have happened in late spring, it could have gone into summer when we would want to use it. Instead we got it all straightened out and we knew it would be ready to go when we opened.boomer133 said:I talked to my PB about finishing the plaster after the winter… I figured it would save on closing and reopening cost/work.
