    pond pump for inground pool

    my 6 yr old hayward is on its last legs . i have a buddy who builds ponds and recommended a pond pump, specifically a Performance Pro Artesian. any thoughts pro and con?

    Not electrically certified for humans in the water while it is powered.

    A pond is not quite the same thing as a pool. While I would use a pool pump in a pond, I'm not quite so sure about vice versa...

    You will have to start calling your pool a pond.
