This blog is the best pool discussion on the web. On the topic of media, and maybe I'll be sorry, I am going to go to zeosand but will also add the bed of pea gravel around my laterals. The zeo instrx on initial set up are specific on initial backwash requirements so I'll see how that works. I probably would nOt have done anything but I had cracked laterals. I also wanted to change the sand due to my newfound chemical purity from this site.
