Thread: Maggots

    My pool is clean. Nice blue water. But the other day I found maggots in my pool! How do I get rid of them. Please help.
    Intex 20'x48" round ultra metal frame pool
    Vinyl pool walls
    10,000 gallons (appox.)
    1500 gallon filter pump w/ Saltwater Water Sanitizing System

    Welcome to TFP.

    Usually a high enough FC (free chlorine) level will keep things out of the pool.

    Post a full set of test results and maybe we can help more. Also your location.

    Any tree branches above the pool?
    I had some maggots fall into the water from above last year. We cut some branches & sprayed for bugs. That took care of it.
