    bleach concentration

    if there is no bleach concentration on the bleach label what should you assume the concentration to be?
    24 ft. 52 in. deep above ground
    hayward sand filter
    new pool owner/new bbb believer

    you can try finding an MSDS sheet by googling the name or something. you could also just buy it and see how much it raises for FC by. if it's half of normal, it's 3%. if it's normal, it's 6%.

    Usually, Clorox Regular is 6% (except in Canada where it is Clorox Ultra that is 6%) while most off-brand Ultra bleach is 6%. Off-brand regular bleach is usually 3% or less.
