Some at Walmart. Most at a farm store that has the best price in the area on chlorine.

Testing supplies from ttftestkits. Big stuff I've gotten several places. Inyo Pools has a TFP supporter discount that is nice.

I buy my acid and bleach from a local mom-n-pop pool store in returnable jugs. I'be also bought replacement brush heads and stuff from them. The originals and the pole came from Lowes.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
