Sorry, about 10 cups of gravel I had to vaccum out of the pool after dumping in the salt, it was in the salt bags.

My 2cents worth here.........I use 99% pure food grade non iodized granulated salt. I happen to work in the foodservice industry and get this far cheaper than "pool salt." I would think you might be able to find it at SAMs or resteraunt depot. I buy 25 lb bags for about $4 this year.

I buy 40 lb bags of pool salt from Lowes and have never had any issues. It is about $1.50 a bag more than their water softener salt.

Anothet option js solar salt. Its 99% pure. At lowes its around $6.50 per 40 lb bag. I get salt from walmart, they have 40 lb bags of pool salt for just under $6 a bag.
