I have an A. O. Smith Century Centurion B150 2 hp. pump. I don't see GPM on the info. plate. How do I obtain GPM so I can calculate how long it takes to turn over one full pool volume? Thank you all. RU
Calculating flow rate is not trivial and generally there is no need to know it. There is no reason to try to have some minimum number of turnovers in a day, that is an old pool-ism. New research suggests you actually need very low turnover and only a few hours of pump run time is fine. See the Determine Pump Run Time article in Pool School.
