Our high is generally around 86 but we are close to the equator so the sun is very powerful. We filled the pool 3 days after setting the tile. The thinset was obviously a bit alkaline as I had to add acid for a few days. Brushed for the first 4 5 days as well to get any excess thinset...

The layer is nearly 1/4". The thinset IS the grout. After the tile is "stuck" fairly (2 hours or so depending) well, you apply another layer of the the special thinset for between the tiles mixed a bit thinner with a rubber/trowel/squeegee. That's it! Be careful to not let it dry fully before...

Nicaragua is an awesome place for a vacation. We have fantastic geography. Great weather and a great culture here. FAR, FAR, FAR from the socialist stereotype of the past.

That is the only product readily available.

Granular. It is high concentration. I believe 90% and using that number in the pool calculator seems to be correct. The label says stabilized and my CYA rises weekly. The data sheet is fuzzy on CYA. Datasheet here: http://aquachlorpool.com/download/265/ Product here...

Those are reinforcement for the concrete piers. They will be bent over and cut off to be attached to the top horizontal bond beams. The wall will look exactly like the brick wall on the finished building behind the pool.
